2. Applicability

These terms apply to all offers, orders, and agreements between Treesday (“we”, “us”) and the customer (“you”) via our webshop treesday.store.

3. Orders & Agreement

An agreement is formed once we confirm your order by email. We reserve the right to refuse orders or cancel them if products are unavailable or pricing errors occur.

4. Prices & Payment

All prices are in euros (€) and include VAT, unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs are shown before checkout. Payment must be completed via the methods offered at checkout.

5. Delivery

We aim to ship within 10 business days. Delivery times are indicative and not binding. Risk of loss transfers to you upon delivery.

6. Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the products, without giving any reason, in accordance with Dutch and EU consumer law.

To exercise this right, notify us via [email] within the 14-day period and return the products in their original condition within 14 days thereafter. Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless stated otherwise.

Exceptions: the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., fresh pet food)
  • Sealed products opened after delivery for hygiene reasons
  • Custom-made or personalized products
  • Goods that deteriorate or expire quickly

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

7. Warranty & Conformity

Products must conform to the agreement. Statutory warranty under Dutch law applies. If a product is defective, contact us at contact@treesday.com and we will arrange repair, replacement, or refund.

8. Pet Products — Specific Notice

Pet food and pet care products are sold for use according to the manufacturer’s instructions. We are not liable for adverse reactions caused by misuse, allergies, or unsuitability for your specific animal. Always consult a veterinarian if you are uncertain.

9. Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the order, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website (text, images, logos, designs) is our property or licensed to us and may not be used without written permission.

11. Complaints

Complaints can be submitted to contact@treesday.com. We will respond within 14 days. Unresolved disputes may be submitted to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/odr.

12. Applicable Law

Dutch law applies to all agreements. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in [city, e.g., Amsterdam], unless mandatory law provides otherwise.


Things to add or adjust before publishing:

  • If you’re a member of Thuiswinkel.org or a similar trade association, you may need to reference their standard terms (Algemene Voorwaarden Thuiswinkel).
  • For pet food specifically, check if any product-category rules apply (e.g., labeling requirements under EU Regulation 767/2009).
  • A Dutch-language version is strongly recommended since most of your customers will likely be Dutch-speaking, and consumer rights notices in particular benefit from being in the customer’s language.
